Editorial policy
Clear Food Review aims to make food packaging easier to read without overstating what labels can establish. We explain terms in context, separate observations from conclusions and welcome careful corrections.
Accuracy and clarity
We check that explanations match the wording and information being discussed, define technical terms, and make the limits of a claim visible. Where packaging conventions or terminology can vary, we describe the scope rather than implying that every label follows one identical format. We do not present general articles as personal dietary or medical advice.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader understanding, not to secure a favourable account of a product or company. A partnership does not determine our conclusions, and we do not promise positive coverage in exchange for support.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or wording that could mislead, contact us through the Contact page and identify the relevant passage. We review credible reports and correct material when warranted, making substantive changes clear to readers.
Paid material and illustrations
Sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where an illustration could be mistaken for a real product, label or documentary image, its illustrative nature is made clear.
A label is a starting point, not the whole story.
Packaging can help answer specific questions, but it cannot describe every aspect of a food or decide what suits every reader. We explain the information in view and leave room for personal choice.
